My Mom, older sister and I have always been lovers of fine arts, we belong to The Houston Museum of Fine Arts as well as the Houston Museum of Natural Science. During one of our frequent visits, I asked why none of the images we all adored looked like me, so we set out to find some.

We discovered that many "Orientalist" style artist depicted "Moors" in everyday life, Ludwig Deutsch, Jean-Leon Gerome and Rudolph Ernet to name a few.

Our greeting card selection is designed to provide everyone an opportunity to own a piece of history not well know to the masses and promote pride and highlight my history that has been erased. I am a 4th grade student from Houston, Texas and I would appreciate your support during my journey to highlight my culture that has been hidden or forgotten.
